A sauna when you fancy it.

Choose when you want to arrive and how long you want to stay. Community sessions are capped at 15 people, so there’s plenty of room between the two saunas.

Memberships

For the sauna regulars.

Memberships are the cheapest way to sauna at Balta Chill. All member sessions can be used at peak or off-peak times.

Private hire

Have the place to yourselves.

For birthdays, work things, big groups or just people who don’t fancy sharing their sauna with strangers. All prices include VAT.

Hire off-peak is Monday to Friday, starting at or before 5pm. From 5.30pm, and all day Saturday and Sunday, is peak.

Deposit, minimum hire and cancellation details will be confirmed when you enquire.

Choose an amount and we’ll email you a gift card to print or pass on. It can be spent on sessions, packs, memberships, events and private hire, and it’s valid for a year.

Before you book

Do your prices include VAT?

Yep. The price you see is the price you pay.

When is off-peak?

For sauna sessions, Thursday and Friday before 5pm. Thursday and Friday evenings, plus all day Saturday and Sunday, are peak. Private hire works slightly differently: off-peak is Monday to Friday for a session starting at or before 5pm, and anything from 5.30pm or at the weekend is peak.

Can I use packs and memberships at peak times?

Yes. Pack and membership sessions can be used whenever we’re open.

Do I need to book?

It’s best to. Walk-ins are welcome if there’s room, but booking means you know you’ve got a spot.

What do I need to bring?

Swimwear, a towel and flip-flops or sliders. We’ve got the rest.

How does a 3-hour Sauna Social work with a membership or pack?

It uses two sessions.

How old do you have to be?

The saunas and cold plunges are for ages 16+. For private hire of the full Sauna Hub or the whole venue, the minimum age is 10.

When does my membership renew?

On the same date each month as the day you joined.

Can I pause my membership?

Yep. If you’re away, pause it and start again when you’re back.

Do unused membership sessions roll over?

No. Your allowance resets each month. If you want sessions you can keep for longer, buy a pack instead - they’re valid for a year.

Do packs expire?

Yes. You’ve got a year from the day you buy them.

Can I share my membership?

Memberships are just for you. You can bring guests though - Balta Boost includes one free guest each month and Balta Black Card includes three.

What if I need to cancel?

Individual sessions can be cancelled up to 24 hours beforehand for a full refund. Memberships can be cancelled before your next billing date and you won’t be charged again.

Is there parking?

Yep. Free parking is available on site.
